In January 2015 Camilla Dowse was selected as Artist & Illustrators Magazine’s Artist of the Year 2014. Jonathan Cooper Park Walk Gallery was pleased to be among the judges for this award, whose prize included the opportunity to work towards a solo show with the gallery. Impressed by the crisp palette and bold composition of Camilla’s winning painting, Quay Hill, Lymington, the gallery will be holding a solo exhibition of Camilla’s latest works in July 2015, in which Camilla will explore the character-filled streets of London, Brighton, and Oxfordshire.
