Every year in June, artists and craftspeople across south east England open their doors to the public as part of the South East Open Studios event. The next SEOS Event will take place on 5 – 21 June, 2015. A wide range of work will be on show from traditional oil and watercolour paintings to ceramics, textiles and fine metalwork. It is a unique opportunity to meet, talk to and see artists at work. The event is free to the public and you can flip through the guide on-line to see where the artists are located and the times they are opening their spaces.
Here are just a few of the artists who will be part of the SEOS event:
Elaine Richard will be showing colourful landscapes and abstract paintings inspired by nature in her studio in Culverstone.
She will also be demonstrating her technique.
